Customized, Built-in Bathroom

We worked closely with Berkeley architect Caitlin Lempres Brostrom, of First Bay Architecture on this highly customized bathroom remodel. Custom-made LED lights brighten this bathroom, and the mirror helps give the illusion of a larger space. The soft, earth-toned color palette is accented by the burnt-orange color of the countertop, which is a ¾” piece of glass with the color sprayed on the bottom. The plans for this bathroom also called for a stacked washer and dryer in the hallway, but the owner wanted a ventless dryer, in which all water evaporates instead of being directed to the outside, requiring special permits.
